Assorted notebook and Adobe Ideas comparison drawings.
While I decided to leave the waterbrush and watercolor kit at home so I could focus on ink drawing I couldn’t resist opening Adobe Ideas[1] and trying out some of these ideas in color. I have been trying to loosen up a style I started years ago and got to thinking about how to incorporate it into other work as well as how similar it is to topographic maps. A Paper System
I’m just going to throw this idea up here. I almost wrote this whole long thing about it but I don’t feel like it and I don’t want to contribute to the clutter in your Instapaper.
Last year (to-the-day!) I outlined an “Amish digital system.” This is an update. I might write about parts of this, or not.
