Assorted notebook and Adobe Ideas comparison drawings.
While I decided to leave the waterbrush and watercolor kit at home so I could focus on ink drawing I couldn’t resist opening Adobe Ideas[1] and trying out some of these ideas in color. I have been trying to loosen up a style I started years ago and got to thinking about how to incorporate it into other work as well as how similar it is to topographic maps. I’m just going to throw this idea up here. I almost wrote this whole long thing about it but I don’t feel like it and I don’t want to contribute to the clutter in your Instapaper.
