I would love to try this. via joberholtzer
Drinking like Mad Men
I haven’t watched Mad Men, but I assume that they drink like that every day, not just once. Their alcohol tolerance would be higher.
Some folks from the web magazine Double X wondered what it would be like to drink as much in the workplace as the characters do on Mad Men. So they spent the day getting hammered and tried to do some work. The results are somewhat different than on the show.
Somerville Armory Harvest Festival 2009
On Saturday, October 3 from 1-8PM, Harvest Fest will bring together some of the finest artistic, culinary and musical talents from in and around the city of Somerville. Samples and demonstrations from local microbreweries will be presented throughout the day.
Sounds cool. $12 for a food and drink wristband, otherwise free.
ps – why does the brand new Arts at the Armory website use frames? UGH.
Cheers to you, Pacific Northwest
Loose Tea?
After spending the past 8 years drinking coffee I’ve gone back to drinking tea. I found that coffee was a blocker of clear thought. I’ve been purchasing various boxes of bagged tea but would like to purchase loose tea.
Would you happen to know of an online or Boston–area purveyor of loose tea?
