In case you missed it Electronic Arts is making iPhone board games I dislike even more unappealing by giving them super gay graphics.

Dropbox is terrific for keeping and sharing a recipe folder.
Nick Cernis, over at Modern Nerd, has figured out how to send from multiple email addresses on the iPhone and iPad. While it’s specific to Gmail users I could see it possibly being useful to others as well.
I’m really, really excited for Galactic Keep, a pencil and paper RPG game for the iPhone.

A doodle I made in Adobe Ideas for the iPhone (iTunes). What makes this app different than Brushes, Layers and Sketchbook Mobile? Ideas is vector–based – images can be manipulated on a desktop computer and can be resized to any proportion without sacrificing image quality.
Ideas is a nice app though I found my finger hesitated a lot in trying to choose the right nested tool bar… I had to think twice about how to select different colors, opacity, and brush sizes. I’m still pining for Scribbles (from the guy who makes Tweetie/Twitter for iPhone) to come to the iPhone and iPad. Why? Scribbles is a beautiful Mac vector drawing app with a cool feature… infinite canvas. There’s no edge to the drawing area - which makes sense considering it’s digital and vector graphics have a small file size that can still pack in a lot of detail.
Digital sketchbooks are getting there but they aren’t there yet. Until then, and probably after, I’m sticking with paper, watercolor, brushes, pen and pencil.
Ice Tycoon has become one of my favorite iPhone games. It’s a time management game stripped down to the core element: serve ice cream as quickly as possible to get a high score. There’s no poorly written backstory, no items introduced… they’re all there from the start. The graphics and music are excellent too. … oh and it’s free!
