I often take local to mean something utterly ridiculous. For example, why go to stupid Davis Square when you can get everything you need right here in awesome Union Square? With that insane and ridiculously specific thought in mind I created PROSPECTUS SPECTACULARIS, a humble blog about Union Square. PROSPECTUS SPECTACULARIS takes its name from Prospect Hill, a vantage point used during the Revolutionary War and possibly the first place the American Flag has ever been raised. These days it offers a terrific view of Boston. What’s to love about this place? I hope you follow along as we discover. Have questions about Union Square? Just ask.
