La Fete (HD - 2010) on Vimeo A short sketchbook-style animated film that takes a look at people at a “La Fete Nationale” celebration in Montreal, Quebec. The film was an independent production, directed and animated by Malcolm Sutherland with music by Kevin Kardasz, and was produced with financial assistance from The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.

Reminds me of bkaro.net! jakelodwick: I thought this site CorkShare was sort of interesting. It’s a Tumblr-like experience (including a dashboard), but instead of a blog, you get a corkboard. It seems to be a labor of love of three young entrepreneurs and for some reason I have a good feeling about it. There’s a news profile of them here.

I got a perfect score (0). I did it so you would admire me. I think it’s really a test of patience. It reminds me of Joseph Alber’s Interaction of Color. ianstgermain: This is the Munsell Hue Test.  This REALLY HURT my eyes.  This was fun, and difficult.  Enjoy.  I got a 12 (0 is best) I admire anyone who can get a perfect score on the Munsell Hue Test… I think I just went blind trying it.
