The Bloom box →
Am I the only one envisioning giant robots? The Bloom box is a new kind of fuel cell that produces electricity by combining oxygen in the air with any fuel source, such as natural gas, bio-gas, and solar energy. Sridhar said the chemical reaction is efficient and clean, creating energy without burning or combustion. He said that two Bloom boxes - each the size of a grapefruit - could wirelessly...

No taxation without representation - Wikipedia →
The Tea Party people are leaving out “Without Representation.” It’s never been about abolishing taxes, but getting taxed and not having a voice.

TaskPaper for iPhone First Look! →
Ever since Things shit the bed (for me, ymmv) I’ve been using TaskPaper on my Macs. I’ve been eagerly anticipating the TaskPaper iPhone app. In the past 30 minutes of tinkering with it I have not been disappointed. Great stuff!

Fix for WiFi problems after iPhone 3.0 upgrade →
I’ve had this problem the past few days where it’s been really hard to connect to WiFi… I’m not even sure it has worked at all at home, and at work it’s been spotty. Turns out it may be due to the latest iPhone update. It’s not to hard to fix though, tap: Settings General Reset… Reset Network Settings Afterward go back in and redo your WiFi settings and you’ll be all set.

“I TRULY DON’T KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON BUT I FEEL LIKE CURSING SOMEBODY...”
– I think this is my favorite comment because it’s #251, and thus the confusion has been well documented, but more-so because Darlene thinks that she could take Facebook/RWW to court for the injustices put upon her.

“We’re doing exactly the same as ten years ago. We now say “iPhone” instead of “IE6,” but otherwise nothing’s changed.” — Peter–Paul Koch … except that with the iPhone you’re talking about a full–fledged browser with optional javascript that will display iPhone formatted screens. via sid05

– … and that is exactly why ‘Tea Party’ people come off as total loonies. The foundation of their group seems based around hearing it wrong and being unapologetic. …Oh, and that swastika thing is pretty disgusting. Political Notebook - Tea Party Looks to Move From Fringe to Force - NYTimes.com

Oh, man. I wish my parents were as interested in my art, or the rest of my life, as the person in this video. chels: This is the first episode How to Explain it to My Parents, a documentary series in which 9 abstract artists explain to their mom and dad what their work is all about. Here, Arno Coenen describes his work to his father and makes me realize that life never changes. While it’s an...
